ABOUT US

Transport Specialties was formed in early 1984 under the orginal name of J & D Enterprises. Founders were Joseph and John Gahafer, who discovered that there was a need for specialized trucking transportation for land and sea cargo containers as well as heavy equiment. Joseph and his son John started with one truck and trailer in Long Beach, Ca. Demand for Transport Specialties services soon became more than one truck could handle. John has now expanded to a fleet which includes a heavy duty fork lift to place containers virtually anyplace a customer needs. Transport Specialties services not only the Long Beach area, but anywhere in the Western Region of the United States.

We specalize in the transportation, relocation, and removal of Land and Sea Cargo Containers as well as Heavy Equipment throughout California, Arizona, Utah, and Nevada. Although many companies have the ability to handle empty cargo units, Transport Specialties is rare in that we are capable of managing fully loaded containers as well. With our 3-Axle Hydraulic Sliding Axle Tilt Bead Trailer, we are capable of picking up in excess of 70,000 lbs. At this level of service.... THERE IS NO COMPETITON

Transport Specialties, Inc. provides not only Containers and Heavy Equipment transportation, we also rent and sell quality new and used Cargo Containers. We have everything from 10' to 53' custom as well as standard size containers. In addition, we can store your loaded or empty container in a secure lot for as long as you need.
